Why. Why. Why?!?!?!? So early!!! I can see putting them up while it's still a balmy 50 degrees outside, but to already be lighting them?Christmas season, in my mind, use to start when the stores started putting stuff out. It's now out in August.
Then it started when I saw my first Christmas commercial. They started in September this year.
Now someone already has their lights up.
Regardless, Christmas will start for me on the day after Thanksgiving.
Of course, my Christmas shopping is already done.

I saw some decorations up over the weekend. I wanted to teepee their trees.

Yes - it's true! It's earlier and earlier every year. Part of me thinks that its that the holidays make people happy and especially with the state of the economy the past two years - people are looking for joy a little earlier? Christmas makes everyone happy, right?
